ADC – Summer 2006 – Cultural Section 2 – Does my bum look big in this ?

Continuing the cultural theme, Di and me are no longer ballet virgins – we went to the opulent Emirates Palace Hotel http://www.emiratespalace.com/ to see the Russian State Ballet performance of Swan Lake. Luckily we researched the storyline on t'Internet otherwise we wouldn’t have had a clue what was going on – very impressive, although Di has insisted that, should we go in the future, she should take binoculars to fully appreciate the aesthetic qualities and fine detail of the men’s costumes …..

Furthermore we are looking forward to another ‘kulturfest’ at the Emirates Palace Hotel, this time Puccini’s opera Madame Butterfly', which nicely reflects our Oriental adventure (See Travel Section 3.)
