ADC SUMMER 2006 - Travel Section 2 - Maldives and gets yellow card for simulation .....

Sri Lanka was followed by a truly relaxing week in the Maldives. Christmas Day on a Paradise Island where we were a novelty as the only Brits on the island – the rest of the holidaying population was Italian, French and Russian.

Our water bungalow was just a short swim from a coral reef where we were able to snorkel and see some spectacular tropical fish. We could hear Parrot Fish crunching the coral with their powerful teeth and jaws and we saw Stingrays gliding under our bungalow’s glass floor which was floodlit at night.
